Kat Bardot has been a department head in film and television production for over a decade. After graduating from college in upstate NY with a bachelor's of fine art, Kat moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She quickly became involved in the LA theater and performance arts scene, wearing numerous hats to test the waters in multiple departments. In 2009, she made a decisive shift towards a full-time commitment in film and television.

With an innate talent for visual aesthetics and a meticulous attention to detail, she found her calling as a make-up department head. Her creative flair and unwavering commitment to excellence quickly earned her recognition, paving the way for her evolution within the industry. In 2013, Kat's career took a significant turn when she proudly became a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), a testament to her dedication and expertise.

As a union department head, Kat hired and managed teams, showcasing her strong leadership, exemplary delegation, and organizational skills. She has worked closely with writers, directors, producers, and show-runners to design and execute their creative vision. Her innate ability to unite people and coordinate seamless collaborations, combined with an unyielding passion for storytelling, played a pivotal role in the success of numerous projects under her guidance; such as Better Call Saul, Drunk History, Reno 911, Miracle Workers, and Weird: The Story Of Al Yankovich. Inspired by the dedicated producers she worked alongside, Kat made the leap from makeup department head to producer, driven by her goal of uniting like-minded artists.
